The projects supported by Break Poverty are rigorously selected according to 4 main criteria :

  1. Relevance : the proposed action meets the expressed social need.
  2. Effectiveness : the proposed action works and has already demonstrated its effectiveness in the local area (or in another area).
  3. Organizational solidity : the action is capable of scaling up and meeting its objectives.
  4. Synergy with the ecosystem : the action demonstrates synergies with existing projects.

Train all early childhood professionals and raise awareness among parents, to prevent developmental delays in 0-3 year olds.

Coup de pouce association

Present in 240 towns and cities in mainland France and overseas, Coup de Pouce is the leading national association working from the earliest years of school to promote academic success for all.

Use the multilingualism of our society as a lever to promote equal opportunities and combat discrimination.

Maison des familles site

La Maison des Familles is a place where families can share their experiences, learn from those of others and find support.

Childcare for balancing work and family time and organization.

PPE Pas à pas site

Their ambition : that children spend more time – with their parents and caregivers – on activities that are crucial to their development.

ateliers AMASCO

Prevent children from dropping out of school by organizing fun and educational workshops to develop the pleasure of learning, autonomy and self-confidence in children aged 6 to 12.

Réseau étincelle

Training and re-mobilization of young people who have left school without a diploma or with low qualifications (soft skills development approach, self-awareness, discovery of the business world, learning through play).

Proxité

Set up mentoring schemes between company employees and young people in difficulty, to facilitate their integration into the world of work.

ZUP DE CO

Individualized weekly support for young people from CM1 to Terminale by volunteers trained and supported by Zup de Co for 1 hour each week during the school year.

Energies jeunes

Enable as many young people as possible from disadvantaged backgrounds to learn to enjoy learning, by helping them acquire greater autonomy and self-discipline.

Article 1

Promote cross-disciplinary skills and inter-knowledge with education professionals to support guidance and integration.

Cravate solidaire

Enhance young people’s self-esteem before interviews, and facilitate their social and professional integration or reintegration through Coup de Pouce workshops, Hors Les Murs workshops and women’s workshops.

Entreprendre pour apprendre

Enable young middle and high school students to discover the world of work through a team-based entrepreneurial experience over the course of a school year.

AFEV

Prepare young people who have dropped out of school for an apprenticeship in a company, during 6 months of civic service, by providing support in French and Maths, discovering the business world and taking part in solidarity projects.

FACE

Facilitate access to employment for people in difficult situations by offering individual and collective support from company employees.

Positiv

Individual coaching for young entrepreneurs from disadvantaged neighborhoods, including ten hours of meetings.

Lab'elles

Extend opening hours to accommodate 40 girls on a regular basis. Develop the activities on offer, and build bridges between the girls and DAT’s partner companies.
