Newcomers to the Break Poverty board of directors !

Break Poverty Foundation was born of the mobilization of business leaders determined to build innovative solutions to eradicate poverty in France. In this month of January 2022, the Break Poverty teams are proud to announce the arrival of new members to its Board of Directors : Olivier Noblecourt and Mounim Alami.

The first, Olivier Noblecourt, is a specialist in poverty issues. Formerly in charge of social policies for the city of Grenoble, in 2016 he headed the cabinet of the French Minister of Education. He was then appointed Director of “urban planning and social cohesion” programs at the Commissariat Général à l’Investissement, before becoming Interministerial delegate for the prevention and fight against poverty.

The second, Mounim Alami, is Chairman and CEO of Marechal Electric. After several years in auditing and consulting, he joined Marechal Electric in 2001. He has developed the company into a French industrial ETI (mid-sized company) of international stature.

These new directors will enable the organization to build on the wealth of skills it possesses, so as to be even stronger in our fight against poverty. Dialogue, collaboration and the mobilization of all our forces are the key to this fight, so we are delighted to welcome them among us.
