This Tuesday, December 14, 2021, Break Poverty Foundation detected fraudulent practices carried out in its name on the Snapchat application.

We would like to inform you that we are not present on this social network and we have not entered into any partnership with anyone on the Snapchat application. People claiming to be acting on our behalf are offering individuals the chance to sign up to an app that helps underprivileged children, in return for a hand-delivered cash payment of 50 euros.

The perpetrators of these frauds are clearly trying to scam individuals using our name. A complaint has been lodged and legal proceedings are underway.
