Digital inclusion drive program second prizewinner in the Fondation Crédit Mutuel Nord Europe call for projects

On Thursday, May 6, Break Poverty Presented the Réussite Connectée Operation as the Second Laureate of the Crédit Mutuel Nord Europe Foundation’s Call for Projects During a Live Segment of Its TV Show “Fondation L’émission”

At the heart of the call for projects was a question: ” Is the crisis generating new forms of solidarity? ”

The Crédit Mutuel Nord Europe Foundation supports Break Poverty in its Réussite Connectée project, which aims to assist 150 disadvantaged youths facing digital exclusion in the Hauts-de-France region during the 2021-2022 year.

To recap, Digital inclusion drive project is a major initiative launched in September 2020 to equip and support young people, particularly students, who lack the necessary equipment, internet connection, or skills to continue learning.

Digital inclusion drive program combats the digital divide that jeopardizes the educational success of thousands of young people made vulnerable by the current crisis. Beyond providing a free laptop and Wi-Fi hotspot, Réussite Connectée offers personalized support for digital skills and usage, as well as mentoring by students or employees, guided and supervised by partner organizations such as AFEV. This initiative is designed to ensure that these struggling youths receive guidance and support in their educational and professional choices.

Our ambition : To support 10,000 young people by 2022 !

With the second award received from the call for projects, Break Poverty is proud to see that Digital inclusion drive project is recognized by the Crédit Mutuel Nord Europe Foundation as a significant initiative for “envisioning the world after” and addressing the inequalities exacerbated by the pandemic.

Stay tuned for the upcoming testimony from Grégoire Guillard, Regional Delegate for Hauts-de-France at Break Poverty, who will discuss the actions undertaken by the Foundation to combat school dropout risks among France’s most disadvantaged youth.
