Break Poverty Foundation is organizing a special conference to mark the release of its study on inequality from an early age !

Event

Date: June 19, 2024 from 5:30pm to 8pm,

Venue: Ministry of Solidarity and Health (14 Avenue Duquesne)

The impact of poverty can be measured from an early age. From the age of 2, children from disadvantaged backgrounds are more likely to suffer from poor health and learning difficulties than children from affluent backgrounds. These gaps are the first gear in the terrible mechanism of social determinism in our country, where it takes 6 generations to rise out of poverty. What can be done to reduce these gaps?

With the support of six other foundations (Okola, the Fonds de dotation bio Mérieux pour l’éducation, the Fondation Lama, the Fondation Pierre Bellon, the Fondation Rothschild and the Fondation TotalEnergies), Break Poverty Foundation has carried out a study over the last 9 months to provide concrete answers to inform public action and private sponsors.

To mark the publication of this book, we are organizing an event on June 19 in the presence of Madame Sarah El Haïry, Minister Delegate for Children, Youth and the Family, at the Ministry of Solidarity and Health (14 Avenue Duquesne) from 5:30 pm to 8 pm.
