In 2018, Break Poverty Foundation launched its first public awareness campaign in the Marseille area. Since then, we have continued to extend these campaigns to new territories so that Break Poverty Foundation ambassadors can come and meet you. Since January 2, we’ve been running a campaign in the Hauts-de-France and Grand Est regions.

These campaigns represent a double challenge for Break Poverty. On the one hand, they raise public awareness of the reality of youth poverty in France. On the other, they enable us to mobilize a growing number of donors to support our actions over the long term.

It’s thanks to you, our donors, that Break Poverty Foundation is able to lead the fight against the growing poverty of our children and young people. For all this, THANK YOU !

HOW TO RECOGNIZE BREAK POVERTY FOUNDATION AMBASSADORS ?

Whether you meet our ambassadors on the street, on your doorstep or in a busy place, there are several ways to identify them :

• The teams we send out wear blue outfits bearing Break Poverty Foundation’s colors.
• They are easily identifiable thanks to our organization’s badge.
• They present our various activities, and invite you to become a donor by monthly direct debit only. You can make a one-off donation by clicking here.

HOW DO YOU MEET OUR AMBASSADORS ?

First, our ambassadors will introduce you to the Break Poverty Foundation’s mission and actions. If you would like to support our organization, you can then fill in your Break Poverty support form on a digital tablet. Our teams will accompany you and we’ll ask you for the following information to set up the direct debit :

• your identity
• your bank details (shown on your bank details form)

Worried that this information will be reused without your consent, or passed on to a third party ? Don’t worry ! The SEPA direct debit mandate specifies the sole recipient of the direct debit, thanks to our SEPA Creditor Identifier. Consequently, it is impossible for a third party to use this information without your consent.

What’s more, our teams will never ask you for cash or cheques. We only recruit regular donors and will only use your bank details.
